Linden Gardens Duplex

This Notting Hill flat occupies the grand first and second floor rooms but felt like a warren. To improve the ‘liveability’ of the flat, CB Architects combined two rooms to make a grand salon for living, dining and cooking with a high ceiling and tall windows overlooking the street. The elaborate cornice in the front room was carefully preserved and a black marble feature including the fireplace stretches the full width of the living area. Above, the built-in mirror incorporates an LED TV. Full-height pivot doors close off the entrance lobby and a triangular window gives views from the stairwell in to the grand space.
