We appointed Charles Barclay Architects to carry out a complete reconstruction of what had been a dark and poorly refurbished Victorian terraced house. Charles and his team are experienced, professional and meticulous in their approach and were a delight to work with. Charles understood the brief perfectly, creating a light filled home using as many of the existing materials as possible.
The new floor plan creates a natural flow throughout the house and Charles’ creative storage solutions maximise the available space. Charles project managed the entire works from the planning process through to complex structural engineering works and liaison with all contractors. Throughout the process, he was always thoughtful and considerate towards neighbouring properties.
