CB Architects have undertaken a number of projects to transform Inner London schools into exceptional learning environments, handling the complex job of phased construction projects within school buildings that are still occupied. Sustainability and flexibility of use are key goals, as well as creating welcoming, child-friendly spaces that encourage learning and engender a sense of belonging.

CB Architects won an international competition for the Kielder Observatory, and their winning design is now one of Northumberland’s leading attractions, with astronomical events taking place throughout the year, and a thriving outreach programme.
